Info about Bont Skates and Wheels
Bont skates manufactured in Campsie New South Wales  by Inze and Sara and (son) Alex Bont represented by Glen Koshi in the USA
(glenn916@yahoo.com) AS said in the Bont web site the following... "Glenn started his skating experience when he opened an inline skate business on the beach in Huntington Beach, California, in 1987.  The business soon became the world's largest inline retailer. He began selling Bont boots in 1991, raced, and sponsored one of the biggest and best inline racing teams at the time" Myself as a long time Bont boot skater, I can say with confidence, they are the most comfy boots for long distance skating!

Info about Wolf racing boots
Announcing the new
http://wolfracingboots.com made by our very own local Scott Wolf! His company is Wolfracingboots.com, has made his own style of custom boots contact Scott for details! His boots are great for indoor racing, as they seem to turn left all by themselves!

Here is the reason there is a brake on the back of a 5 wheel skate, it helps the intermediate to advanced skater, to change from a high rec or fitness boot, to a speed skate boot. It is constructed of air craft aluminum, is designed to be used EXACTLY as it was manufactured. If you drill it, bend it or otherwise try to "adjust it" after it has been bent, it will break in two pieces, unless you have access to a heat treating system after! Therefore, these one of kind custom made brakes are available on a limited basis. They are custom designed for each individual frame, as there are many different types of boots, frames and wheel heights these days. From 80 mm, to 84 mm to, 88 mm, 90 mm Think by the time you get to using a 100 mm wheel, there will be no need for a brake!
