The first race in the base at Los Alamitos CA was on 2/26/05 a unique 10k. The second race was Feb 25, 2006 and everybody had a blast. There were perfect road conditions, no rain! The results needed some adjustment, as the people at the finish shoot, had no clue as to how to handle the fasssssst finishers! The results and placements reflected this mishap. This year the Race on the Base, was canceled in 2007. It will resume again in 2008, after the gov't has finished with their inspections of the bases all over the USA.
