Long Beach Marathon
Ah, the Long Beach Marathon, it was yes, WAS the most fun marathon in 2005! There is a rumor they may bring it back for 2008 (not sure yet) As us local skaters had a chance to skate all over Long Beach, go fast with no stop signs! But alas another race down the tubes, as the size of the runing and bike event took over the number of skater racers. However, lets not forget our local pro skater, Peggy Girgenti winning the race 6, yes, 6 times! That makes her a 6 peet Peggy! Way to go Peggy!
